'Moments of Triumph' Return to Destiny 2

July 7 is Bungie day, as all die-hard Destiny fans know. During this year’s celebration of all things, Guardian related Bungie revealed the return of ‘Moments of Triumph’ to Destiny 2 on the Destiny website

For those who missed the previous ‘Moments of Triumph’, the event consists of a variety of challenges scattered across Destiny 2 and all of its DLC. The more challenges players complete the more unique loot they earn. The 2019 version of ‘Moments of Triumph’ starts July 9 and runs until August 27.

Here’s the breakdown on rewards for the event:

  • One Moment of Triumph, earns an event specific Emblem
  • Five Moments of Triumph, earns an event specific Sparrow
  • Ten Moments of Triumph, earns an event specific Ship
  • Fifteen Moments of Triumph,earns an event specific the Moments of Triumph T-Shirt unlock
  • ALL Moments of Triumph, unlocks the Moments of Triumph 2019 Seal and Title

Players who want the T-shirt will need to already own the Forsaken expansion for Destiny 2 and purchase the shirt through the Bungie website. The shirt will be available until September 30. While some challenges will be available in base Destiny 2 other ‘Moments of Triumph’ will only appear in DLC zones so unlocking all the rewards will require players to be up to date on their DLC.

In addition to the new event, Bungie also revealed new Destiny and Bungie Foundation merch in the Bungie shop and released some Hi-res concept art.
